Stunning decorative tall Chinese Wedding Basket - 20th Century.
Originally these would have been filled with food and presented to the bridge and groom on their wedding day.
Three stacking baskets hand painted, hand woven with a bentwood handle.
So many storage usages; log storage, toy storage, pantry storage etc, or could even be made into a stunning hanging pendant lampshade.

These baskets are hand made and hand painted and although old, the condition is good on all of them. There may be the odd loose piece of bamboo (due to delivery disruption) but these threads can be wired back in easily with some fine garden twine and be invisible.
The paint on the designs have faded over time but the patterns are still visible and the fading provides a subtle colour which is lovely.
As with all vintage items, they are perfectly imperfect.
