Stunning decorative tall Chinese Wedding Basket - 20th Century.
Originally these would have been filled with food and presented to the bridge and groom on their wedding day.
 
3 baskets hand painted, hand woven with a bentwood handle.  Unfortunately this one is missing its lid but is still very beautiful and practical.
 
So many storage usages; log storage, toy storage, pantry storage etc, or could even be made into a stunning hanging pendant lampshade.
