We select the ones we love the most be it colour, size, shape, patina, or repairs.

These have been heavily used throughout their lifetime so will also have cracks and nicks and repairs.  Its part of their charm.
 
Great decorating pieces, particularly if forming a collection.  Can be used for dried foliage display too which looks amazing.
 
Cannot be used for fresh flowers with water.
