Painted in a petrol blue paint and upholstered in a lovely thinly striped organic cotton from the gorgeous Merchant and Mills in Rye. 
The seat pads are the same on the red chairs so could be mixed together for a dining table. 
Vintage chairs so age related patina visible under paint and finished with a subtle satin varnish - gentle sheen.  The upholstery is done with horse hair.
